Daboo Ratnani is a B-town photographer who has managed to take some extraordinary and sensational photos of 48 of the hot bollywood stars for the New Year Calendar 2009. Ratnani launched his calendar on 5 January, at Olive, Bandra. Known for coming up with innovative ideas every year, he wanted to do something totally different this year since it’s the 10th Anniversary calendar.

The calendar this year is a lot larger; it’s a bigger desk calendar mainly to accommodate all the 48 stars. The stars featured in the calendar are: Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Priety Zinta, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shahid Kapur, Sushmita Sen, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone Vivek Oberoi, Bipasha Basu, John Abraham, Dino Morea, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Esha Deol, Vidya Balan, Harman Baweja, Fardeen Khan, Imran Hashmi, Mallika Sherawat, Urmila Matondkar, Lara Dutta, Ameesha Patel, Kunal Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan, Ayesha Takia, Amrita Arora, Kangana Ranaut, Abhay Deol, Konkana Sen Sharma and Riya Sen.

Fashion photographer Daboo Ratnani released his 2009 Calendar at Oliv Bandra. Few of the top Bollywood celebs that graced the event Amisha Patel, Dino Morea, Ayesha Takia, Urvashi Sharma,Vidya Bala and Shahid Kapoor.

A star studded night of Lil Star Awards were held at the Yashraj Studios where Bollywood stars like Arjun Rampal, Sonal Chauhan, Aarti Chhabria, Urmila Matondkar, Preeti Jhangiani, Tulip Joshi, Raveena Tandon, Sharman Joshi, Farah Khan, Aditya Narayan, Anusha Dandekar, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal were present there.

The music for the movie EMI was launched over the weekend. The event was hosted by Seemanto Roy of Sahara One Motion Pictures, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and Suniel Shetty of Popcorn Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd, at the Intercontinental Grand. Seemanto Roy came in with beautiful wife Chandni Roy while Suniel Shetty was being the perfect host and taking care of his guests and talking to the media.

The compeers of the evening Rakshanda Khan and Sunil Pal were keeping the entire crowd in splits and entertaining to the hit. Jeetendra was seen in full support of daughter Ekta Kapoor while Tusshar came straight from his shoots. Govinda walked in briefly to congratulate good friend Suniel and headed for the post event party.
